New Battlefield V Trailer For Gamescom: Devastation of Rotterdam

EA’s Battlefield V will take the series back to World War II , A brand new trailer for Battlefield V has just been released, given us our first look at Battlefield V’s multiplayer  Battle Royale mode. The Trailer  mainly focused on the game’s Arctic Fjord map set in Norway Showing off the narrative based missions set around the fall of Rotterdam  , This is the  only map that’s been playable during the game’s Closed Alpha sessions and at E3 2018.

DICE’s new World War II shooter is currently in its second closed alpha period where the developer is testing some changes and improvements to matchmaking and gameplay based on feedback from their first closed alpha testing . Developers have promised the game will feature emotional story missions, and no doubt surviving the brutal Battle of Rotterdam (which involved an intense Blitz by German planes) will be one of them. However the map looks like it would certainly lend itself to the game’s multiplayer

Battlefield V promises to be the most immersive entry into the franchise to date, with more more inclusive customization than ever before, and thrilling new additions to the game such as Fortifications and Grand Operations. DICE is also going against the recent trend of ditching single-player, honoring player wishes for a continuation of the notorious storytelling they are known for within a historical time period many of didn’t experience.

Battlefield V – What is it?

Battlefield V is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V will be the sixteenth installment in the long-running Battlefield series. The game will be set during World War II, and will build on many of the elements first introduced back with Battlefield 1. Battlefield 5 will tackle conflicts new to the series, introducing levels and stories inspired by the Norwegian resistance movement, and traveling to places such as France and Holland. The game will scrap DLC plans in favour of a free live service that will be instead funded by cosmetic microtransactions.
