Marcus Sellars insider Leaks Call of Duty 2018’s Setting and Title -Black ops 4 ?

Marcus Sellars a industry insider ,Has leaked that 2018’s Call of Duty will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and it will also be available for the Nintendo Switch. No more walking on walls and flying through the air like in Black Ops 3 or Advanced Warfare.  The reference to “modern times” and “boots on the ground” also seem to indicate the game will not feature any far-fetched future technology like spider-tanks or jet-packs.

Sellars’ track record is solid. In the past he stated Dark Souls and Nintendo Labo would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The Call of Duty series cycles between three studios . Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch, it’s no surprise we’d see a game from Treyarch this year after 2017’s Call of Duty: World War 2 and 2016’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare made by Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward respectively.

I think it is safe to say that Black Ops 1 is one of the best instalment of the Call of Duty franchise. With the unforgettable Campaign, heart-beating Multiplayer, and the formidable Zombies mode, The game was a success. Apparently black ops 4 could also release with a remastered version of the original black ops ,

it  shouldn’t be a big a surprise  to see Treyarch back at the helm. And  this also marks the debut of the franchise on the Nintendo Switch.  Activision usually reveal Call of Duty to the press at the start of March so it’s entirely possible that Marcus has seen some early promotional material.

Treyarch first brought Zombies into the fold in 2009, as part of COD: World at War. BLOPS 3 arguably had the best zombies mode of the lot. Shadows of Evil was set in the 1940s and included the likes of Jeff Goldblum in the cast. Characters were diverse and interesting  – a magician, a boxer, a cop, and a burlesque dancer – all introduced with a great short video.

Treyarch Studios are busy  developing  the next Call of Duty game. This is sensible move considering how well received Call of Duty: WWII has been and there was no futuristic jumping  in that game. Treyarch’s Black Ops 3 was released in 2015, Infinite Warfare from Infinity Ward was released in 2016 and a year ago we went boots on the ground with Sledgehammer Games Call of Duty: WWII. For now,
