New Days Gone Gameplay Trailer Debuts During Sony’s Pre-TGS Stream

Days Gone is looking more and more like the fuel for your post-apocalyptic nightmares, and now we know when players will be able to get their hands on this PS4 exclusive , During today’s PlayStation live stream ahead of the Tokyo Game Show,  Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new gameplay trailer for it’s upcoming open-world action-adventure/survival horro game Days Gone.

The trailers new footage of the games main protagonist Deacon in a video highlight reel of attacking  zombies or Freakers, zombie-like humans and animals that have become mindless and violent, travel the roads, and Deacon must evade and battle them.

The new trailer also shows  the challenge the zombies will bring, as they tend to travel in fast-moving hordes, much like the zombies in World War Z.  The trailer is reminiscent of what Sony released for Days Gone ahead of E3.

While the main plot points are still mostly unknown, Sony is pitching Days Gone as a story-driven game, with a heavy emphasis on the “golden path” rather than on dozens of side quests like some other open-world games throw at you. we’ll surely continue to get more trailers like this over the course of the next few months.
