Sony releasing retro video game console titled the PlayStation Classic with 20+ Games

Sony’s next video game console titled the PlayStation Classic is going retro .

First there was the NES Classic Mini, followed by the SNES Classic Mini and the C64 Mini And Now. The electronics giant announced early Wednesday it will sell the PlayStation Classic, a miniature version of its first PlayStation console.

Instead of requiring discs to play games, the PS Classic will come pre-loaded with 20 retro games, including  including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4 , Tekken 3 , Wild Arms, and a host of other ‘legendary titles. The Classic looks exactly like the original PlayStation, which launched in 1994, only the Classic is about 45 percent smaller. It was a huge hit for Sony, becoming the first home video game console to ship 100 million units worldwide.

The PlayStation Classic is already available for pre-order and is scheduled to be released December 3 (24 years after the release of the original PlayStation), the mini console will come with two replica controllers in the box, along with an HDMI cable and a USB cable. Like the other mini consoles listed above, an AC adapter is not included
