Sony playstation has hit back at Xbox One X with some stunning new exclusive PS4 Pro gameplay footage.Sony revealed a brand new Shadow of the Colossus gameplay trailer at the Tokyo Game Show. Proving that the PS4 Pro is no slouch, the video highlights some of the game’s improved lighting, shadow and particle effects. First released in 2005, “Shadow of the Colossus” has garnered the positive attention of the gaming community.
It received a lot of awards and critics generally agreed that the soundtrack, gameplay, and plot of “Shadow of the Colossus” remains to be one of the best seen on a video game. The New footage Captured on PS4 Pro, highlights some of the game’s superior animations. Sony also confirmed that the Shadow of the Colossus remake would run in 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro.
The Shadow of the Colossus remake was first announced during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo , Which made something of a surprise appearance during the Sony E3 2017 press conference. Just a few hours after fans discovered a trademark filing for a new Shadow of the Colossus game, The remake is set to be exclusive for PlayStation 4 users. Sony’s president Shuhei Yoshida has also revealed that it will be a full remake, which means that the plot and gameplay will remain the same
The Game has been re built from the ground-up, featuring impressive new visuals and animations. Sony didn’t give an exact release date for the PS4 remake, beyond suggesting that it would launch in 2018.This was confirmed at TGS, where Sony told fans that it would launch next year. The only bad news is that the Shadow of the Colossus remake won’t come with any new content.
“It is a remake,” Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida told Famitsu (via Siliconera). “The game content is the same as the original version, but all the assets are being remade.
“I figured we could use such tech to make if we’re going to make Shadow of the Colossus in the PS4 era.
“Bluepoint is the development company behind the PS3 remaster versions of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. So we know them rather well.”
On the plus side, it will have new control options, although the original control scheme will remain intact.
There is no release date yet for “Shadow of the Colossus” remake. However, fans are expecting to have it by next year at the latest. It will not debut for Xbox One and Windows PC. But we never know what the future holds regarding a cross platform release
